Airdrie home destroyed in Boxing Day fire

Eleven people were forced out of a residence in Airdrie following a morning house fire.
Emergency crews arrived in the community of Morningside just after 9 a.m. Saturday morning.
Two families were impacted and Alberta Red Cross has confirmed it is helping the four adults and seven children by offering shelter and other basic necessities for the next three days.
There is no word yet, about what caused the fire.
