Albertans least confident about finances in Canada

Albertans’ feelings about their finances are crumbling.
That’s according to a new poll from CIBC, which shows we have the least positive feelings about our current financial situation in the country.
The poll shows only 62 per cent of Albertans feel good about their current financial position — down a whopping 21 per cent from last year.
It’s the lowest number in the country, and five points less than the Atlantic Provinces.
In fact, Alberta went from first to worst in the poll, after leading the nation with 83 per cent last year.
Albertans are also gloomy on their outlook for the future, with 72 per cent believing they’ll meet their long-term financial goals, down 19 points from last year.
As a nation, two thirds of Canadians are okay with their current finances, while eight in 10 believe their future goals will be met.
