Man shot in downtown nightclub

Police tape surrounds a downtown scene in the wake of a weekend shooting at a nightclub.
Emergency crews were called to the bar just after 1:30 Sunday morning.
Police say the shooting happened inside the bar just before closing.
“CPS responded to a shots fired incident at a bar in the 1100 block of 10th Avenue southwest. One victim had been shot inside the bar,” explained Acting Sergeant David Fakas.
“EMS attended and transported the victim in stable condition.”
Fakas told 660 NEWS they believe it was a targeted incident and was not random.
He said officers were able to find several witnesses to the shooting and are trying to determine how it all unfolded.
There’s no word yet on what might have sparked the violence and at last word they were still working on a suspect’s description.
It’s not known how many times the victim was shot but investigators say only one person was injured.
