Mounties are probing an armed robbery at an Airdrie motel.
RCMP say a man entered the Super 8 on East Lake Boulevard on January 1st armed with some sort of weapon and took off with an unknown amount of cash.
The suspect is about 6 feet tall with a slim build, he was wearing a cream-coloured scarf to cover his face. Investigators think he is Caucasian based on the skin colour around his eyes.
He was also wearing a red hat, a red and white nylon jacket, black pants, and black shoes.
The hotel clerk was not hurt.
