Southeast shooting sends one to hospital

Investigators are looking into a shooting Saturday night in the city’s southeast.
A man called 9-1-1 from the Penbrooke Meadows area just before 7:30 saying he’d been shot.
Emergency crews found the victim with a gunshot wound shortly after at 55th Street and 8th Avenue southeast.
Police have a report of a possible vehicle involved, described as a dark-coloured SUV.
They’re not sure if the victim was shot where they found him or if he walked there.
He was taken to hospital in stable condition.
