Federal finance minister visits Calgary

Federal Finance Minister Bill Morneau’s pre-budget consultation tour arrives in Calgary Friday.
He’s holding roundtables with members of the Calgary Chamber of Commerce and leaders from the energy and environment sectors.
Friday afternoon, Morneau is hosting a town hall meeting with students at the University of Calgary.
It’s a Facebook event that will be livestreamed beginning at 2 p.m.
Morneau says the low dollar and cheap oil make tax cuts and stimulus spending even more important.
He’s expected to table his first budget within two or three months.
