If you’re feeling a little down, blame it on Blue Monday.
It’s the name given for the third Monday in January, dubbed the saddest day of the year.
Psychologist Nicole McCrance tells CityNews, it’s important to try and keep things positive, especially when trying to sleep.
“Keep Post-It notes beside your bed and when you have those stressful thoughts write them down and get them out of your head and they won’t keep waking you up,” she suggested.
Experts blame a combination of post-holiday depression, higher than normal bills and knowing there’s a long winter ahead for Blue Monday.
