Man killed in snowmobile crash

A 22-year-old man is dead after the snowmobile he was on hit a large hole this weekend.
It happened early Saturday morning near Huxley northeast of Calgary.
Three Hills RCMP say a group of snowmobilers was travelling from Huxley to Trochu around 2 a.m.
The victim was thrown from the machine.
He was transported to Three Hills Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Mounties say the man was wearing safety equipment.
They also say alcohol was involved but is not believed to be a factor in the crash.
