Emergency crews rescued a man from underneath a C-Train Saturday night.
Acting Battalion Chief Bryan Loschuk with the Calgary Fire department says they got the call just before 8:30pm to the Westwinds LRT.
“Arriving crews found an individual trapped under the front section of the C-Ttrain,” explains Loschuk.
“The scene was stabilized and the patient was extricated from underneath the car.”
The victim was rushed to hospital in critical condition.
The incident disrupted LRT service for about half and hour before crews were able to get things running again.
