Okotoks program tests home energy efficiency – for free

Ever wonder about your home’s energy efficiency?

The town of Okotoks has launched a new online program called ‘MyHeat’ which uses thermal imaging to visualize and compare the waste heat escaping from homes in the area.

Officials say it’s the first such platform in North America that is available free for residents.

The town also says they will soon be launching an energy conservation rebate incentive program based on residential energy efficiency audits that will be done this year.
