Police investigate SW stabbing

A man is in hospital after a stabbing just before 3:30 a.m.
Duty Inspector Joel Matthews says the victim walked to the front door of a building in the 1500 block of 10 Avenue S.W., where security found him.
“He had a couple of stab wounds to his chest. EMS was called and the man was taken to hospital initially in life-threatening condition, but he has since been upgraded to stable condition,” he said.
Inspector Matthews says it’s not clear where in the city the man was stabbed.
At this point police don’t have any suspects and the man wasn’t initially co-operating with investigators.
