As the skiing and boarding season winds down at Canada Olympic Park, Winsport has come out with a unique, pricing promotion based on the weather.
Starting Saturday, the price of lift tickets will be based on the forecast high for the day.
“We’re matching the hill ticket prices with the weather forecast and we’re basing it on Environment Canada’s forecasted high,” says Spokesperson Dale Oviatt. “So Saturday for example, they’re calling for a high of 12 so that means all hill tickets will be just 12 bucks.”
Winsport sets the price based on the high from noon the day before. The promotion will run through the rest of the season at C.O.P. with the minimum price of $5.
The promotion is not available online, and will only be offered to walk-in patrons at guest services.
