Calgarians are busy getting their hands on plenty of sweet treats ahead of the Easter weekend.
Crave Cupcakes co-founder Carolyne McIntyre Jackson told 660 NEWS, although many are thinking about the economic downturn, they’re also relishing in having family and friends over while sharing some tasty desserts.
“I think it’s important people have people over and they’re still celebrating and they’re having people in their homes,” she said. “They are still coming and they are purchasing product. And I do think it’s important to treat yourself. We always say that, and that’s why we spend so much time making good product. If you’re going to treat yourself to something, it should taste really good.”
She added, Crave’s best sellers for Easter are carrot cake with cream cheese frosting, along with chick and bunny cupcakes.
