City launches online project engagement

The City of Calgary launched a new outlet for people to give their input on projects.

An online engage portal is now available. Calgarians can offer their opinions 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

City of Calgary Director of Customer Service and Communications, Cindy Pickett, tells 660 NEWS there are lots of options for residents.

“It’s a one stop shop for all city projects so it can present information about the project and then there is different tools so it’ll allow for participation and conversation with all of our citizens,” she says.

Right now, only the Bus Rapid Transit Program and the Crowchild Trail Redevelopment Project are available on the site. All engagement projects that are planning to go online will use this portal.
