CBE holds second reading of new LGBTQ policy

The Calgary Board of Education is holding a second reading of its new LGBTQ policy changes Tuesday.

The new guidelines plan to bring Calgary public schools up to date with the province’s Bill 10.

A first reading of the document passed on March 15.

More details on the CBE’s new policy will be presented to board trustees at noon before they are submitted to Alberta Education for approval.
