Wind warnings southeast of Calgary

A wind warning is out for most of southeastern Alberta Tuesday morning.

It covers everywhere east of Calgary down to the U.S. border.

Environment Canada says gusts will be reaching 90 km/h from the northwest.

That is strong enough to do some damage to buildings and blow around loose items.

The wind should remain strong through much of the morning before calming a bit by noon.
