Model train enthusiasts will be headed to the Genesis Centre this weekend.

Supertrain is the largest model train show in Canada and features more than 100 exhibits, both hobby and commercial.

Assistant Show Chairman Rob Badmington says it’s a real family-oriented event.

“There’s model railroad layouts brought from all over western Canada, there are displays, there are people showing how they built things, there are artists that show off how they painted trains and landscapes,” he explained.

The show takes place Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
