Two people are in hospital following a single-vehicle rollover west of Calgary.

Emergency crews including Nakoda EMS and STARS Air Ambulance responded to reports of a serious crash around 2:40 p.m. Sunday along Highway 1 at Highway 40.

One man, believed to be in his 40’s, was transported to Foothills Hospital by STARS in serious, potentially life-threatening condition.

A woman was also taken to hospital by ground ambulance with minor injuries.

The cause of the rollover is still under investigation, but alcohol is not believed to be a factor.
