Police are investigating a home invasion in the city’s southeast.

Around 4:15 Thursday morning, three men burst into a residence in the 1400 block of Lake Michigan Drive in Bonavista Downs, armed with a baseball bat and paintball gun.

One of the victims had to dial 911 from a neighbour’s house after his phone, and his two roommates’ phones were taken.

Paramedics took one man to hospital with lacerations to his head.

Police aren’t sure if it was a targeted incident, or if anything else was taken.
