Officers nab more tools, bikes and drugs in N.E. raid

Calgary police have discovered more than $100,000 in stolen bikes, vehicles and drugs in the N.E. community of Falconridge.

On Friday, Apr 22, members from the District 5 team led surveillance on a home in the 100 block of Falshire Dr. N.E.

The home was believed to have been housing a large amount of stolen property that was obtained during break-ins and thefts in Calgary.

In a news release from police, the stolen items were highlighted:

· 2007 Kawasaki KX250 dirt bike

· 2009 Yamaha YW50 scooter

· 2003 Polaris RMK700 snowmobile

· 2004 Ford Explorer

· 1997 Porsche Boxster

· 2005 Kawasaki ZX-6 motorcycle

The items tallied up to approximately $90,000 worth of stolen tools, $15,000 in stolen bicycles and $10,000 in various other stolen property and household items.

CPS also found more than 14 grams of methamphetimine worth over $1400 on the street and close to 57 grams of heroin worth an estimated $14,350.

Two men, 39-year-old Daniel Sohn and 38-year-old Lucas Ryan Drew face a number of charges.

Investigators are now working to return the stolen property to the rightful owners.
