Students at Nellie McClung School in the southwest are doing something special Friday to remember a 16 year old boy who died of brain cancer last year.
It’s the 11th ‘Shave Your Lid for a Kid’ event.
Joel Zukowski made a lasting impression on students and teachers when he spoke to them back in 2014.
Education Assistant Marg Connors says Joel was an incredible young man and this is one way they can honour him and his life.
