Calgary police need help identifying body found in Crescent Heights

The Calgary Police Service is asking for help identifying the body of a woman found in Crescent Heights.
Officers were called to a lightly forested area on the west side of the intersection of Centre Street and Samis Road N.E. at around 8 a.m. Wednesday morning after a passerby found the body.
Police says the death is suspicious because the body was concealed and not intact.
Inspector Don Coleman says the body may have been in the park for days.
“It appears to investigators that there was some effort put in to concealing the body. It was not intact, and we don’t believe it’s from animal activity in the area or things like that, we believe that what was done was purposely done.”
An autopsy was completed Thursday, however police have not been able to I.D. the body.
The victim is a woman, between the ages of 20 and 40, with dark hair. Her left cheek had a distinguishable mark on it that was covered with some sort of bandage.
