Two altercations send two people to hospital overnight

Police were kept busy late Friday night after two separate altercations sent two people to hospital.
The first occurred just before 10 p.m. when a man was found in the 7800 block of 24th Street S.E. suffering from critical injuries.
His condition has since been upgraded to stable, non-life threatening.
There’s no word what sparked the incident, but investigators say they know who they’re looking for.
The second incident occurred at the 800 block of 11 Avenue S.W., where police responded to reports of a stabbing shortly after 11:30 p.m.
One person was taken to hospital and one person has been taken into custody.
Police continue to investigate both incidents.
