HomeFront pairing with Checker Yellow Taxi

The next time you hail a cab in Calgary, a local agency that aims to end domestic abuse hopes you take notice of the message on the door before you hop in.

HomeFront collaborates with the justice system, police and social agencies to free families from domestic violence. Starting Monday, their logo is being plastered on the sides of 800 Checker Yellow Cabs.

“Because the drivers are so heavily involved in getting people out of domestic situations, we just thought it was a good fit for us,” explained Kurt Enders, president of Checker Yellow Taxi. “It’s about being able to help give back, because they are on the forefront when domestic violence does happen.”

The goal of the campaign is to let people trapped in domestic violence known that HomeFront is here to help.
