A photo exhibit this weekend in Canmore has a very difficult theme — murdered and missing Indigenous women in Canada.
REDress is a collection of snapshots from more than 25 photographers around Alberta.
Organizer Mufty Mathewson says she carries her red dresses everywhere and aims to capture at least 1,181 images.
She says others have joined in, motivated by wanting to re-dress the wrongs heaped on Aboriginal peoples.
The opening reception for the photo exhibit is from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the Three Sisters Gallery.
