Man dead after boating incident on Sylvan Lake

A 70-year-old man is dead after a boating incident on Sylvan Lake.
The man had reportedly rented a boat at the popular resort town on Wednesday afternoon.
Shortly before 5 P.M. an employee found the boat abandoned and called RCMP.
Crews were able to locate the man in the water in a remote area.
However, after multiple attempts to revive him, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
The incident is not believed to be suspicious.
