New investigative report looks into Bantleman case

It appears Australians are keeping an eye on the case of a former Calgary teacher jailed in Indonesia.

Neil Bantleman has been in prison for nearly two years on charges of sexual assault against his students at a Jakarta school.

He continues to maintain his innocence.

The case has been an emotional rollercoaster ride as at one point Bantleman was acquitted, only for that decision to be reversed.

The Australian Broadcasting Corporation has completed a two-part investigative report on the case, entitled Indonesia – Accused.

The first episode is now up on YouTube, with the second expected in the coming days.
