Earls to provide update on Canadian beef supply

Earls Restaurants is set to make an announcement regarding its beef products Wednesday.

Back in April, Earls said it would stop carrying Canadian beef, instead turning to the U.S. for “certified humane” meat.

However, the restaurant backed down after about a week saying it made a mistake, following huge backlash from the public.

At that time, it said it would work with beef producers in Canada to ensure it can purchase meat which meets its standards for animal care.

This announcement will update the progress of that endeavor.
