Just as people were returning to Fort McMurray, someone was going on spree by breaking into homes and stealing property.
Wood Buffalo RCMP are on the hunt for a suspect.
On or around June 9, a number of homes in the Thickwood and Timberlea neighbourhoods were broken into. There’s no word on exactly what was taken.
Mounties are asking for the public’s help in locating 18-year-old Taetm Lucaas D. Moon. He’s charged with a number of offences, including trespassing and possession of stolen property.
There were also a couple other people arrested for break-ins during the month Fort McMurray was evacuated because of a wildfire that burned about 10 percent of the homes and businesses in the community.
