PC Party led by Kenney would win election: poll

A new poll finds a Jason Kenney-led PC Party would immediately jump into first place in the minds of Albertans if an election were held today.

The Insights West poll shows the PCs would overtake the Wildrose and NDP as the popular choice with 32 per cent of the vote.

With the current leaders in place, the Wildrose is the top choice, ahead of the NDP and PC Party.

However, the poll also shows Albertans are split on having Kenney as premier.

One third of the 601 respondents would like to see Kenney lead the province, while 37 per cent would not.
