RCMP charge a man in relation to 2015 murder

A Conklin man is facing murder charges in connection to a 2015 homicide.
RCMP have charged 21-year-old Trevor Powder with first degree murder, he will appear in Fort McMurray court via CCTV on July 25th.
On august 11th, 2015 Wood Buffalo RCMP responded to a home in the community northeast of Edmonton with reports of a shooting.
Officials found 20-year-old Tyler David McDermid and pronounced him deceased on scene.
The Edmonton Major Crime Unit, along with the Serious Crimes Unit of Wood Buffalo and the National Firearms section in Ottawa assisted in the investigation.
