Moraine Lake drowning victim was Saskatoon man

The medical examiner has identified the man who drowned in Moraine Lake near Lake Louise after falling out of a canoe Monday.

While the RCMP are not releasing his name, they say he is a 62 year old man from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.

Mounties say he was not wearing a life jacket when he was found in the water, but there was one floating nearby.

He was alone at the time of the incident.
