Blue-green algae advisory in effect for Pine Coulee Reservoir

There’s another area to avoid if you’re looking for a place to swim or fish this weekend.
The province has issued a blue-green algae bloom advisory for Pine Coulee Reservoir, south of Calgary, near Stavely.
Don’t let your pets in the water, and avoid eating whole fish caught from the reservoir.
Blue-green algae advisories have been issued for a number of other lakes in Alberta this summer, including Eagle Lake.
