Three people in custody after invading wrong home in S.E

Residents of a home in the S.E. community of Penbrooke are a bit shaken up, but safe after three people tried to invade their house.
Police were called to the 100 block of Penswood close around 1:15 p.m. Monday afternoon.
Constable David Fakas says three offenders forced themselves into the residence and threatened the occupants inside.
“They were looking for an individual who wasn’t there, we believe they actually hit the wrong residence and then they fled in a vehicle in an unknown direction” said Fakas. “With information from the witnesses that were at the scene district units were able to locate the offending vehicle and take three individuals into custody.”
He adds no one was injured in the ordeal and nothing was taken from the home.
An investigation is underway.
