Drivers to get McKnight Mad thanks to constuction

Drivers who use McKnight Blvd. need to prepare for possible ‘hurry up and wait’ travelling conditions for the next several weeks.

Bridge work on the overpass at Deerfoot Tr. begins Tuesday.

Lanes will be narrowed and speeds will be reduced to 50 km/h in the work zone.

There will also be restrictions for large trucks using ramps from southbound Deerfoot Tr. to eastbound McKnight Blvd. and from northbound Deerfoot onto westbound McKnight.

The repair work will happen every day of the week and is scheduled to run until the end of September.
