Base jumper missing near Canmore

Search personnel in Canmore are looking for the public’s help in locating a missing base jumper.
The Kananaskis Country Public Safety Section says the base jumper went missing between 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. on Saturday in the Ha Ling or Mt. Rundle area, just outside of Canmore.
Anyone who may have seen a jumper, who would have been wearing a winged suit, is asked to contact officials at (403) 678-5508.
Anyone who picked up a hitchhiker along Canmore Hill, or Highway 742, is also asked to call, as it may be connected to the case.
