Beakerhead line-up revealed

Excitement is starting to build ahead of Beakerhead 2016.

Among the highlights this year in Calgary: a street party in Bridgeland, illuminated rabbits in Central Memorial Park, and the installation of a massive structure designed to send messages into space in the East Village.

This year’s show is the biggest yet, with more than 60 distinct events, and most of them are free.

Last year, 110,000 people took part during the five day celebration of art, engineering and science.

More restaurants and bars will also be opening up their doors September 14-18.
