Travelling WWII exhibit on display at Military Museums

Calgarians are invited to The Military Museums to mark the 74th anniversary of the Dieppe Raid.

The travelling exhibit, ‘From Vimy to Juno,’ will be on display Friday night.

The evening honours the Canadian sacrifices made during WWII. It especially highlights the ill-fated raid on Dieppe, which happened on August 19, 1942; where 900 Canadian soldiers were killed.

The ceremony begins at 6:00 p.m. The Military Museums is located at 4520 Crowchild Trail SW.
