Research can help you save on your Labour Day vacation

The last long weekend of the summer is almost here, and that means lots of people will be hitting the highway for a road trip.
Saskia Matheson, General Manager at Esurance Canada, says a little research can save you money.
She suggests going online to GasBuddy.com, to find the cheapest places to fill up.
“In terms of where you’re going to stay, Kayak is a great site, but one of my favourites is Parks Canada. Parks Canada has an app about learning to camp, and hey Alberta Parks also– you can book campsites online. There’s a real true Canadian, Alberta way to save money on your holiday,” she said.
Matheson says it’s also a good idea to check on your insurance coverage before you leave.
