Man arrested in hit and run

Charges are coming against a man after he allegedly crashed into a pregnant woman’s car while driving impaired.

Police say it happened on 20 Avenue near Centre Street North around 10 p.m.

It’s alleged the man crashed into her vehicle, then took off on foot.

He was quickly arrested with the help of the K9 Unit.

The woman was taken to hospital, but was not believed to be injured.
