Police host soccer tournament

Police from around the continent are in Calgary putting on a different uniform.
The local force is hosting the North American Police Soccer Tournament, which kicked off Wednesday at the Calgary Rugby Union in the southeast.
Sergeant Graham Smiley says CPS has five teams in the tournament, and officers are getting pretty intense on the field.
“It does get quite competitive actually, in the policing community it’s not uncommon for police officers to have the last word so when they’re all on the field wanting to have the last word, it does sometimes get quite competitive,” said Smiley.
The semi-finals and championship match take place Friday.
