The United Way will kick-off its annual campaign Thursday, with a parade down Stephen Avenue.

Participants will meet at 5 Street and 8 Avenue SW at 11 a.m., and walk to Olympic Plaza.

At noon, there’s a special address by president and CEO Dr. Lucy Miller, along with entertainment and a BBQ lunch.

The goal of The United Way is to drive social change in the areas of poverty, kids, and communities.
