Drumheller inmate, 23, found dead in cell

A 23-year-old inmate is dead after being found unresponsive in his cell at the Drumheller Institution.
Cody Osterland was serving a three year, five month sentence for break and enter, theft, and possession of a weapon among other charges.
Osterland’s family has since been notified.
It’s unclear what led to his death.
Correctional services is reviewing the case.
