The Calgary Flames are hoping to build increased awareness about mental health.
The team is holding its 6th annual Hockey Talks Game Tuesday night, when they play host to the Las Vegas Golden Knights.
Flames Coach Glen Gulutzan tells Sportsnet 960 the Fan he knows people in the league who have anxiety.
‘”Trouble sleeping after games and, or before games and those types of things we need to talk about, because they can have a big affect on players and people,” he said.
Fans can support the cause by buying a Flames-branded Hockey Talks hat Tuesday night on the main concourse, with proceeds going to the Canadian Mental Health Association and the Calgary Counselling Centre.
