Carseland drowning victim found, police continue search for three more suspected drownings

CARSELAND (660 NEWS) – RCMP said they have found the body of the man they had suspected drowned over the weekend.
Police said the man went missing while swimming in the Bow River near Carseland, southeast of Calgary.
It happened around 9:30 Sunday evening when Mounties said the victim jumped in the river but did not return after swimming downstream.
Police said the man’s identity will not be released and no further updates will be provided, however, officials said the man is from Calgary.
Search and rescue crews continue to investigate two possible drownings at Pigeon Lake southwest of Edmonton on Friday.
A recovery mission is also underway for a boy who police believe drowned in a river near the Seebe Dam west of Calgary on Saturday afternoon.
