CALGARY (660 NEWS) – Councillor Joe Magliocca’s expense scandal is back on City Hall’s agenda Tuesday.
Members of the Priorities and Finance committee will meet to go over $1,200 Magliocca still owes from a Federation of Canadian Municipalities (FCM) conference in 2019.
A forensic audit released by the city last July found that Magliocca improperly expensed $5,657 for meals, hotel rooms and hosting events.

The audit contacted 89 of the reported people Magliocca hosted, of which 11 said they did not meet the councillor.
The investigation into Magliocca’s spending started last year after the Calgary Herald reported on meals he expensed at the FCM conference in Quebec City.
The Ward 2 Councillor is being asked to repay the money before Mar. 31.
