Charges laid in violent road rage incident near Edmonton

LEDUC – Mounties south of Edmonton have laid charges in a dangerous and dramatic road rage incident.
A woman shared a video of the ordeal on social media and in it, you can see two drivers getting violent with each other.
A driver in an SUV pulls up beside the other and punches the side mirror.
The SUV driver then tries to drive away, but don’t make it far before the driver of the other vehicle, a white truck, rams into the SUV, forcing it into the traffic circle and spinning it around.
The two drivers appear to pull over and both get out of their cars and continue fighting on the side of the road.
Leduc and Devon RCMP officers were called to scene at Highway 60 and Highway 39 around 2:20 p.m. Thursday afternoon.
Both men, a 45-year-old and a 59-year-old, have both been charged with careless driving.
It’s unclear what led up to the event.
