Calgary homicide detectives called in to investigate Tuesday morning death

CALGARY – Calgary’s homicide team is investigating after a man died in the southeast community of Erin Woods Tuesday morning.
Police say they, along with EMS, were called to Erin Woods Circle for reports of a man in medical distress around 5:40 a.m.
Despite the best efforts of first responders, the man believed to be in his 30s was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police think that the suspect or suspects who may have played a hand in his death took off before police got there.
There is also no suspect description or photo yet.
An autopsy for the victim is scheduled for Wednesday to determine how the man died.
