18-year-old killed in Calgary crash on Bow Trail

Calgary police are looking to the public for dashcam footage after a fatal crash last week.
An 18-year-old passenger inside a 2004 Lexus was ejected during a rollover on Friday, July 22 around 3 p.m.
Police say the victim was in a vehicle that was heading west on Bow Trail when it was hit by another car that was turning onto 45 Street S.W.

The teen suffered serious injuries and was taken to the hospital in life-threatening condition. She later died of her injuries.
The driver of the Lexus, a woman in her 20s, was also taken to hospital, in serious condition. She remains stable.
Meanwhile, the man driving an Acura involved in the crash suffered minor injuries. He was treated at an urgent care facility.
Investigators say speed is being considered a contributing factor, while drugs and alcohol are not.
They are asking for any witnesses or drivers with dashcam footage to come forward.
