Stoney Trail northbound reopened at McKnight after crash

The northbound lanes of Stoney Trail between McKnight Boulevard and 16 Avenue have reopened after a crash that happened Friday.

Motorists driving north on Stoney Trail were detoured at McKnight Boulevard.

Calgary police say they were called to the area just after noon Friday.

One caller to CityNews reported a driver heading in the opposite direction into oncoming traffic on Stoney.

A crash was confirmed a short time later.

Officers add the crash involved a semi truck and two smaller vehicles, however, nobody was hurt.
